CALM & CONSCIOUS RETREAT

Why did I create this retreat? Let me tell you....

Well it started the moment I drove into the station. Only just 15km south of Port Augusta I found myself absolutely amazed by the beauty of the ranges. As I drove along the drive way faced with the huge range there was a sense of relief, peace and quiet. Once driving down into the holiday park I couldn't believe how tranquil it was. It was then I wanted to facilitate a retreat here for a small number of people.

To gather all of my knowledge of mindfulness, meditation, self awareness and natural body modalities together to create a beautiful yet transformative retreat that is time friendly for mothers.

The boys at Spear Creek are one of a kind and the work they have put into the holiday park itself as well as running the sheep station is incredible. The place is like a hidden paradise in the foothills of the Flinders Ranges.

I created this 'Calm & Conscious by the Creek Retreat' to hold a safe space for those who a seeking time out from the rat race, to just be themselves to rest, learn and explore amongst the 100s year old gum trees of the creek & the 1000s year old mountain range.... And I have done just that.

Not only do attendees get to participate in the fun & eye opening retreat activities they also get to experience the wonderful 4X4 bus ridge tour where Jai from Spear Creek takes us up into the range where you can see the land of Port Augusta. We stop on a look out hill where we can enjoy a cheese platter and wine whilst watching the sun set.

Another big tick for this little retreat is the food. We are so very grateful for Archers' Table who caters for this event. Brad the owner personally cooks and prepares the food for attendee and wow does he know how to combine flavours.

With all this a more and more to be experienced at the 'Calm & Conscious by the Creek' retreat it is one not to be missed, with our last retreat of the year being available on the 9th & 10th of November.

This retreat is perfect for a group of friends who are setting to take time out for themselves as it is shared accomodation.

I look forward to see your there.
